Originally built in 1720, the historic William H. Babcock House once stood on Main Street before being carefully relocated to its current site in 1964. Its signature white picket fence is a faithful replica from its original location, preserving the charm of its village-era presence.
In collaboration with architect Kitty McCoy, the homeowners undertook a thoughtful renovation in 2016, restoring the timber-frame structure while integrating materials and details from the original house into new additions. The result is a beautifully balanced blend of historic authenticity and modern livability—an enduring Hamptons landmark now proudly situated South of the Highway.
