In planning the landscape expansion for Long Pond, LaGuardia Design Group prioritized seamlessly integrating the client's ambitious vision with the site's existing natural topography. By leveraging detailed site surveys, the design artfully nestles the swimming pool and terraced spaces into the natural slope, preserving mature trees and minimizing disruption.
LDG was integral to every aspect of the project, from the design of the custom arbor to the careful selection of all outdoor furniture. This comprehensive involvement ensured a cohesive aesthetic that seamlessly tied every detail of the built environment to the surrounding landscape. The planting palette was carefully curated to echo the surrounding textures and tones, weaving the natural context through the built spaces. A vanishing edge swimming pool further dissolves visual boundaries, creating a seamless connection between the constructed and natural elements.
This strategy of 'preservation through integration' creates a landscape that not only elevates the outdoor experience but also fosters wellness and a profound connection to nature.
