Founded in 1909, the Lake George Club was established by a vibrant summer community seeking a place to gather with friends, family, and neighbors while enjoying powerboat racing, golf, and other outdoor activities. The Club quickly became a destination for like-minded individuals to connect and celebrate the season.

LaGuardia Design Group began the project by reviewing historic documents and photographs to create a detailed inventory and analysis of the site’s existing conditions. This research informed a comprehensive redesign strategy aimed at improving circulation, enhancing key areas such as the tennis courts and front entry, promoting revenue-generating opportunities, and strengthening the property’s connection to the lake.

The resulting landscape plan honors the Club’s historic character while optimizing its functionality, circulation, and engagement with the natural surroundings, ensuring a memorable experience for members and visitors alike.
