The Hyde Collection, located on the edge of the Hudson River in the Adirondack foothills, is a museum showcasing the collection of Golden Age American art collectors Charlotte Pruyn Hyde and Louis Hyde (ca. 1890–1940) and includes several historic homes on its campus. The founders’ mission was to promote and cultivate the fine arts for the community and beyond.
LaGuardia Design Group collaborated with the Hyde Museum’s Reimagine Task Force to translate this mission into a comprehensive landscape master plan. Through a series of workshops, the team identified site improvements and programs that enhance the campus, uniting its historic architecture, gardens, and public spaces into a cohesive vision for the future.
