LaGuardia Design was commissioned to reimagine Herrick Park, a central public space in East Hampton Village. Officially hired by the Village Planning Board in July 2019, the firm’s proposal focused on improving circulation with new pathways, reconfiguring ball fields and tennis courts, upgrading lighting, and creating more formal entrances and functional parking areas.

As part of the redevelopment, LaGuardia Design is also integrating the existing eight-acre park with three adjoining parcels to the north—nearly three additional acres acquired through the Community Preservation Fund—expanding Herrick Park into a more connected and accessible village landscape.
