This modern residence sits high upon the waters edge of a narrow peninsula in Burnetts creek in Water Mill, NY. The residence, pool and pool house were strategically sited and oriented towards panoramic views of layered bay scenery and distant vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. In order to anchor the raised residence to the site, the landscape architect used a series of terraced planters and natural revegetation.

Through sustainable building methods the project team was able to create a spatially functional and environmentally sensitive residence for the client and family to enjoy for years to come.
