Working alongside the interior vision of Ellen Hanson and the architecture of Guy Peterson, LaGuardia Design Group transformed the terrace levels into immersive landscapes that blur indoor and outdoor. On the lower-level terrace a ring of massive containers houses citrus trees and kitchen-garden herbs so that 'when you are inside you look out to greenery, and outside you are surrounded by it'.
On the upper level, the terrace aligns with the master suite and office wings, reinforcing a peaceful, elevated connection to water and sky views. Stone accents, sculptural plantings and clean lines echo the art-driven interior while honoring the site’s topography and visual drama.
The result is a layered rooftop environment where the garden becomes both a living room extension and a contemplative retreat— supporting the home’s artistic focus, the clients’ love of harvesting fresh herbs and citrus, and the promise of a 'beautiful, relaxed vibe' that mirrors the effortless elegance of Sarasota living.
